Alana's LootHappy Halloween to everyone. Tonight was Trick or Treat night in Ankeny. Alana was Supergirl and Brynn was a butterfly. Mom and Dad came down to see the girls in their costumes and to hand out candy while we both took the girls... It was such a nice night out that 90% of the neighbors just sat outside and handed out candy. We left at 6:00 and headed down the street. This year was so different for Alana. Last year she was shy and this year she ran up to the door or step and said Trick or Treat! Then said thank you and ran back to us. We made it to so many houses since she was moving so fast this year. Around 7:15 or so, her little legs were getting slower and slower so we came back and sat outside and handed out candy with mom and dad. There are so many kids that Trick or Treat in our neighborhood. We had atleast 150 kids that stopped at our house tonight. When we got back at 7:15 there were 109 and then we shut the light off at 7:30. Hope everyone is having a great Halloween!!
