Another Weekend in Minnesota!

We all headed up to Minneapolis to help Carissa celebrate her birthday. The girls were so excited to head up. Mom rode with me and the girls and we went up on Thursday, November 12. Alana didn't have school on Friday so we took advantage of the extra day! We got to their house late afternoon and once Carissa was home from work we visited awhile and then all headed to Macaroni Grill for supper. Alana was excited that we told the waitress it was Carissa's birthday and they brought cake with a candle in it.

Friday us girls all headed out shopping. We spent a few hours at the mall and Target. We got home late afternoon and Dad arrived shortly after we got back. Steve made it up there that evening. We relaxed at Carissa and Matt's house and had pizza and just hung out.

Saturday we went to lunch at 5-8 club so Dad and Steve could finally try their special burger the "Juicy Lucy". YUM! We relaxed at the house all afternoon. Holly and Steve came over for the afternoon and we had alot of laughs and it was fun to catch up! We went to dinner that evening and then came home and Carissa opened presents and we had cake and ice cream. The girls liked helping with the presents of course.

Sunday we went to brunch and then Dad dropped Steve and Matt off at the bar for a full day of football watching. (yes people, they were at a bar so they weren't sitting around drinking soda all day if you know what I mean) Dad headed back to Iowa and us girls just held the fort down all day. It was nice to just have a day to sit around and relax. Monday we left around 2:00. I can't believe how fast the weekends seem to go when we are up there. We all had a great time and already looking forward to our next trip up north!
