My cousin Katie got married on June 12, 2010 and we were all go excited to have another family wedding! Steve, the girls, and I headed over to Sioux City, IA Friday morning and beat Carissa and Matt by about 15 min (yes, I guess it was a goal). We met up with Mom and Dad right away and my aunt and uncle, Sue and Nathan. The girls were both so excited to see everyone. We all went to the hotel restaurant for lunch. That afternoon Steve and Matt took the girls swimming. My cousin Angela's husband Dan took their kids, Hannah and Connor, swimming too, so the kids were all having so much fun! I think the guys had fun too, but it was more work than play for them.
Friday night Katie's future in-law had a wonderful rehearsal dinner out on their farm and we were all invited. It was a very fun evening and we all realized that she was joining a wonderful family! They were all so welcoming and nice.
Saturday was their big day! The wedding was beautiful and the reception was so much fun! It's too bad we don't have more opportunities for us all to be together, because it's guaranteed to be a good time! The girls had such a fun time dancing with their cousins and it was just a wonderful wedding!
The weekend flew by and we all said our goodbyes Sunday morning. Can't wait until we can all get together again!
