Happy Halloween!

We had a great Halloween this year. It kind of felt like it was a week long holiday! Last Friday Alana had a Halloween party and then we also took her to Night Eyes at the zoo. Tuesday, Oct 30 was Beggar's Night here in Ankeny so we took her Trick or Treating, and then Wednesday, Oct 31, Alana went to a Halloween Party at Tammi's house, so she wore her costume to 4 different events this year! She really enjoyed Trick or Treating. She would say Trick or Treat all the way up to the house until someone would come to the door, then she would freeze and just stare at them. Once the candy bowl would come out she would reach in and help herself with a smile. Sometime she would tell them thank you and othertimes she just stared at them, but of course once they went into the house and closed the door she would say bye bye! Thank you!! It was cute.



Yesterday we went over to Tammi's (her old daycare) for a Halloween party and Alana enjoyed seeing her old gang. She had snack there and then we had a little parade outside around the cul-de-sac. She also played with her friends before we left.



Overall, we had a great Halloween! It's crazy to think at next year's we will have two little ones in costumes!
